Westview Medical Campus is a proud community partner committed to providing health resources and education to keep our community healthy and strong.

 

Westview provides the Indianapolis metropolitan area with a wide variety of wellness and prevention education, disease information, health screenings and support groups. Alzheimer Support Groups

The Alzheimer Association Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Westview Hospital’s imaging conference room. Fitness Classes

As part of Westview’s wellness vision, a unique facility was created. Westview Healthplex Sports Club is a medically-based facility that helps you get healthy and stay healthy for a lifetime. Plus we offer many programs – basketball, swimming, indoor tennis and running track to group and specialty fitness classes. Call 920-7400 to schedule a free tour and learn about our special monthly discounts.

 

Free Diabetes Basic Skills Class

Learn the basic skills you need to know to live a healthy life with diabetes. The diabetes basic skills class will provide you with the following education and services:

  • General diabetes information – basic facts, treatments and complication prevention
  • Daily glucose monitoring information
  • Various important screenings
  • Realistic meal planning, lifestyle changes, exercises
  • Carbohydrate counting

 

  • There is no charge for this class which is held monthly. Morning and late afternoon classes are available on a rotating basis. Medical Lectures

Westview Medical Campus hosts medical lectures open to the community on topics ranging from diabetes and hypertension to weight management and graceful aging. Senior Spirit Program

Senior Spirit is a community-based health and fitness membership program that encourages adults ages 50 years and older to live the best years of their lives in a healthy and active way. Senior Spirit offers fitness classes, health lectures and social activities that will improve its members' quality of life - body, mind and spirit.
