Dr. Richter attended Iowa State University where she pursued a degree in Psychology and graduated with Honors in 1995.  She then attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated in 1999. Dr. Richter left the state of Iowa and completed her Family Medicine residency at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan.  She served as chief resident during her last year at Mt. Clemens.  She is board certified in Family Medicine and is passionate about women’s health, preventative medicine, as well as pediatrics and adolescent medicine.  

Dr. Richter has been part of the Westview Hospital family since 2002.  Since that time she has practiced medicine at Speedway Family Physicians in Speedway, Indiana. She is also the program director for Westview Hospital’s Family Practice Residency and Traditional Rotating Internship Program.  Her current responsibilities offer both the ability to see private patients and teach/mentor future osteopathic physicians.

Dr. Richter is married to husband Steve and they have three daughters; Isabella, Campbell and Elliana. Her outside interests include staying fit, eating healthy, reading and actively participating in the Junior League of Indianapolis.
